As published in Sakal, 4 armed naxalites were arrested in Gadchiroli on June 17. There was firing from both the ends before they could be arrested by the police.
As reported in Dainik Bhaskar, in a major crackdown on Maoists, security forces killed eight Naxals, including three women, in an encounter in Midnapur on June 15. 1 AK-47, 1 SLR, 1 pistol and 5 guns were found from the incident place.
