On May 10, 2012 Times of India reported that Task Force sleuths arrested a fake document maker from Chirag Ali Lane on Wednesday. The arrested youth, Mohammed Raza of Riyasat Nagar in Habeebnagar, runs MMR World Travels, a visa consultancy firm, at Chirag Ali Lane. According to police, Raza was a software engineer, but quit his job in 2008 to set up the visa firm. He ended up in debts as the business became dull. To clear his debts, he began preparing fake visa documents like work experience certificates and bank statements.

On May 09, 2012 Times of India reported that police have arrested a 33-year-old hotel worker who killed his 11-year-old nephew and fled from the city a month ago. The Mirchowk police arrested Mohammed Irfan of Panjesha. Two years ago, he lodged a complaint with the Mirchowk police alleging that his two-year-old daughter Ruksar was missing. Irfan told the cops that he suspected his brother-in-law Feroz Ahmed and sister Razia’s role in the incident.

On May 07, 2012 Times of India reported that the entrance examination of Chennai-based SRM deemed university was cancelled following a question paper leak in Hyderabad on Sunday. Nearly 1.5 lakh students, mostly from south India, were scheduled to write the university's entrance examination for admission to B Tech courses at 10am on Sunday. A Hyderabad-based techie and former student of the same university, Praneeth (25), was arrested for trying to sell copies of the question paper along with the answer key to students on May 5. Praneeth, originally from Khammam district, is an employee of a Jubilee Hills-based software firm, Indosoft International, police said.

On May 02, 2012 Times of India reported that a doctor has lodged a complaint against a family member of city MLA Vishnuvardhan Reddy for allegedly assaulting his father, who also happens to be a doctor at a private hospital in Sanathnagar. The accused, Ramchander Reddy, is the brother-in-law of Vishnu Vardhan Reddy. According to the complainant, Mohammed Zubair, on Sunday night, Reddy barged into his private hospital in Sanathnagar where his father Mohammed Osman works as a doctor.
