Kolkata: Most wanted woman Maoist surrenders
On November 18, 2011 Hindustan Times reported that Chief minister Mamata Banerjee, on Thursday, won a psychological battle in her war with Maoists when CPI (Maoist) squad veteran Jagari Baske, one of the most prominent names in Bengal's rebel domain, surrendered to the police with fellow rebel and husband Rajaram. Both were showcased with their son by the chief minister herself in a symbolic repudiation of the Maoist line.
