On February 22, 2012 Mid-Day reported that 30-year-old and his first wife arrested by Bandra Crime Branch Unit IX for abducting the three-year-old, who has now been reunited with his mother. On December 25 last year, Naresh Janardan Ingale was playing the doting father to the hilt. Though their marriage had turned sour, he went out with wife Swati and their three-year-old son Kalpak to the market at Juhu Tara road, and even escorted the infant to buy some ice cream. He returned half an hour later and asked Swati where the boy was, as he claimed to have sent him back to her some time ago.
