The incident took place at the small village of Mohadipat in Balod district, some 150 km from here. “Dhalsingh Devangan lost his cool when he saw his wife Thaneshwari, 32, talking to a middleaged person in a friendly manner at his house. He took a sharpedged weapon being used for killing chicken, and attacked his wife who succumbed to injuries on the spot,” K M Mishra, in-charge of the Arjunda police station, said.
