Keonjhar: MLA arrested for assaulting home guard

On February 21, 2012 Times of India reported that Ruling BJD MLA Subarna Nayak was arrested on Monday for allegedly slapping and misbehaving with a woman homeguard here. Nayak was arrested following a first information report filed against him by Babita Lenka that he had slapped and misbehaved with her over parking a vehicle on national highway 215 passing through the town on Saturday, police said.
