Pune: Firearms seized, two arrested

On February 09, 2012 Times of India reported that the Pune crime branch on Tuesday arrested two persons, one a criminal on police records, and seized two firearms and nine live cartridges from their possession. Acting on a tip-off, the special investigating squad led by inspector Sunil Pawar laid a trap at Khadki bazar and arrested Tushar Dilip Mankar (23) of Kaspate Vasti, Wakad and Ghanshyam alias Gotya Raghunath Karle (24) of Parner in Ahmednagar district.
