Baleshwar: Authorities bust woman trafficking racket

On February 02, 2012 The Pioneer reported that the Baleswar police have succeeded in busting a woman trafficking racket with the arrest of four persons, including owner of two lodges. The racket was involved in trafficking in women as well as in flesh trade. The police achieved the breakthrough when they began probe acting on the complaint of a Bangladeshi woman, who alleged in December second week last year that she was gang-raped in Soro area of the district.
