New Delhi: Three held for raping minor for six months
On January 30, 2012 Times of India reported that the owner of a factory in Bawana has been arrested along with two others for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl over the last six months. The incident came to light when the parents of the girl registered a complaint with police two days ago. One of the accused, Deepak (24) was arrested soon while factory owner Tejinder Singh alias Lucky (31) and Vicky (26) were caught late on Saturday night, said a senior police officer. The girl, who was threatened by the accused, kept to herself for long. But she began to feel unwell in the last few days and was depressed. Two days ago, when she complained of severe stomach ache to her parents, they took her to a doctor. They were shocked to find out that the girl was four month pregnant. Even then the girl was too scared to confide in her parents, the police said. After a lot of cajoling, she narrated the entire incident to her parents, who immediately approached the cops.
