Indore: Rape victim dies at hospital

On January 30, 2012 DNA reported that a 16-year-old girl was raped and set ablaze by a youth in a village of Khargone district prompting angry villagers to attack his family. The girl, a standard 10th student, died during treatment at city’s MY Hospital on Sunday. The youth, identified as Rajendra Bonder 24, allegedly attacked and raped the girl in Salakhedi village, when her parents were away attending a marriage function on January 27. The minor girl was visiting her maternal uncle’s house to spend her school vacation when she was raped.
