Chennai: Police claims to solve murder of political party functionary

On January 20, 2012 Times of India reported that police on Thursday claimed to have cracked Tuesday’s murder of DMDK functionary K Suresh at Chengalpet with the arrest of two people. Earlier, five others, including alleged mastermind Charles, surrendered at a court in Tiruvallur in connection with the murder. Suresh had demanded that Charles sell his house and even threatened to eliminate him following which Charles devised the plan to kill Suresh, police said.
