Pune: Two clerks held on graft charges

On January 19, 2012 DNA reported that the state Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday arrested two junior clerks of tax collection department of the Pune Municipal Corporation for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 1,000 from a cellular phone shop owner. The suspects have been identified as Anuradha Anant Shitkande (50) and Raju Murlidhar Patole (40), both working with PMC’s tax collection department at Ghole Road regional ward office.
