On January 04, 2012 Times of India reported that upset over a stillborn child and the death of his wife, an autorickshaw driver here hacked to death a 55-year-old doctor who was treating his pregnant wife. Auto driver R Mahesh (28) barged into the clinic of Dr T Sethulakshmi (55), also a civil surgeon at the ESI hospital in Tuticorin, late on Monday with his friends and hacked her, killing her on the spot.
