On January 02, 2012 Mumbai Mirror reported a Nallasopara couple, both daily wage labourers, couldn’t have asked for a better start to the new year. On January 18 last year, they lost their two-month old son, and filed a police complaint saying he had been kidnapped. Nearly a year later, the boy has been found. The boy, Iddullah has been recovered from a childless couple who bought him for Rs. 20,000. He is in police care at a children’s remand home in Sandhurst Road, and will be reunited with his parents once the court formalities are completed. The process will take up to two weeks.
