Haridwar: One arrested with illegal liquor worth Rs. 1 lakh

On December 29, 2011 The Pioneer reported that in a late night operation on Tuesday, the district excise department seized illegal liquor worth more than Rs 1 lakh and arrested one person. Officials are on the lookout for other members of the gang. Officials in the district excise department were tipped off about Ramlal, a resident of Tibri area in Ranipur, who has been dealing in illegal liquor for a long time. The informant said he had stocked a large quantity of Indian Made Foreign Liquor and country liquor in his house.
