Ahmedabad: Man accused in double murder and loot, arrested

On December 22, 2011 DNA reported that with the city police's Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) arrested, on Tuesday evening, a man accused of a double murder and loot. The man, identified as Abid Khan Pathan, had shot and killed an angadia worker along with the driver of a moving bus near Morbi and escaped with Rs 40 lakh in 2010. Pathan, in a bid to avoid arrest, had even assaulted the DCB cops, but he was finally captured from SP Ring Road in Odhav area of the city.
