Chennai: Stolen data used to shop online

On December 14, 2011 Times of India reported that police arrested three Nigerians from a house in Sembakkam on Tuesday for shopping online with stolen credit card details. Sleuths of the cyber crime wing, led by additional deputy commissioner of police Dr M Sudhakar, raided the house at 6am. “Seven Nigerians lived there. After detailed interrogation, we found four were unaware of the racket. We arrested the other three,” a senior police officer said. The seven have been living in the city for a year.
