Mumbai: Authorities nab tenant for murdering 65-yr-old woman

On December 13, 2011 Times of India reported that the city crime branch on Sunday arrested a 27-year-old man for the murder of a 65-year-old woman whose decomposed body was found in her house in Dharavi last week. The accused, Mohammed Azad Ansari (27), was the deceased’s tenant, said a crime branch unit 5 official. The police are now looking for Ansari’s friend, Akhtar Shaikh, who fled after stealing ornaments worth Rs 2 lakh from victim Phoolabai Jadhav’s home.
