Ahmedabad: Traffic cops held on corruption charges

On December 09, 2011 Times of India reported that the driver of a jeep from Rajasthan got two traffic cops arrested on Thursday for demanding bribe. The duo have been arrested and booked by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) for corruption and misuse of their official designation. According to a complaint lodged with ACB, Ahmedabad, a Rajasthan based jeep driver, Yogindra Gacha, used to often get fleeced by cops while ferrying passengers between Ahmedabad and Jaipur.
