On November 25, 2011 Times of India reported that two men from a Mumbai suburb were arrested on Thursday after a 19-year-old teenager, also from Mumbai, alleged that she had been gangraped by the duo inside a south Delhi guesthouse on Wednesday night. The police have booked Gopi (25) and Rajesh (31), both doing part-time jobs in Maharastra, under sections of rape and illegal confinement after the girl herself came to the police station and lodged the complaint. “The accused were arrested from the guesthouse itself after a medical test of the girl at a government hospital confirmed rape,” said Ajay Chaudhry, additional CP (southeast).
