On November 24, 2011 Times of India reported that a gangster wanted in 22 cases of murder, kidnapping, rioting and robbery was arrested from Rohini in northwest Delhi on Tuesday. The accused, identified as Vijay Kumar Singh (38), had jumped parole in Bihar six years ago and had a reward of Rs 60,000 on his head. “We had received inputs that he was residing in an apartment in Sector 13, Rohini. A trap was laid and surveillance was put in place," said B S Jaiswal, DCP (outer).
