Cuttack: Couple arrested for 11-year old's abduction

On November 24, 2011 The Pioneer reported that the city police on Wednesday arrested and forwarded a couple to court on charges of abducting an 11-year-old boy for ransom in the city. Sheikh Zulfikar (30) alias Badal and his wife Santosini Naik were booked under Section 12-b (criminal conspiracy), 364-a (kidnap for ransom) and section 34 (common intention) of IPC after they were arrested from Naik's house in Khurda district on Tuesday night, police said.
