Hyderabad: Trio apprehended with counterfeit currency

On November 16, 2011 Times of India reported that the Khulsumpura police arrested three persons for circulating counterfeit Rs 1000 currency notes in the city. Police seized 28 such fake notes from their possession, which are suspected to have been printed in Pakistan and smuggled into the country via the porous border with Bangladesh. The arrested are Mohammed Hazikul of Anup Nagar in Malda district, West Bengal, Mohammed Arfi of Parsouni in Madhuban district, Bihar and Mohammed Taleem from Mangalhat in city.
