On November 02, 2011 Pune Mirror reported that the Pune police’s Social Security Cell (SSC) on Monday arrested a 30-year-old woman hailing from Turkey and her agent for alleged involvement in prostitution. The suspect had come to the city from Delhi during the last week and allegedly runs a sex racket along with her two agents in Kothrud. One of the agents is still absconding, police said. The Turkish national has been identified as Juniya Jhova Hovajan and her agent as Sachin alias Kunal Baburao Kuble (24), a resident of Chandan Nagar on the Pune-Ahmednagar Road. In her statement to the police, Juniya said that she was in need of money as she wanted to go back to her country. She asked her friend for help but was advised to get involved in prostitution. When she agreed, her friend sent her to Pune on Thursday.
