Pune: Crime branch claims to solve 28 house break-in cases

On November 01, 2011 Times of India reported that the Pune crime branch on Monday claimed to have solved 28 cases of house break-ins following the arrest of a suspect from Ahmednagar. The police have recovered gold and silver bars worth Rs. 26.80 lakh from the suspect. The suspect Ankush Laxman Lashkare (25), a Nigdi resident, is currently residing at Ahmednagar. The police have also arrested jeweller Balu Tukaram Nagpure (40) of Ahmednagar, for purchasing stolen property from Lashkare.
