Behrampore: Homeopathy doctor arrested for molestation

On October 24, 2011 Hindustan Times reported that a woman was allegedly molested by a homeopathy doctor of Suti in Murshidabad on Saturday when she went to his house for help for her husband's last rites. Police arrested the accused doctor on Saturday night. Police source said a few days ago Sopika Sinha's (40), a resident of Hatimpur-Barojdihi in Shamserganj, husband had died after prolonged illness. As Sopika is very poor, she moved from doorto-door begging for alms to complete the last rites of her husband. Police said that on Saturday afternoon she went to the house of Rajkumar Sarkar (43), a resident of Thakurpara in Suti and a homeopathy doctor.
