On September 20, 2011 The Pioneer reported that the Consolidating findings of investigating agencies on terrorists having developed a network of sleeper cells in Jharkhand, the Anti-Terrorist Squad nabbed a Ranchi-based youth for his alleged links with the Pakistani agency ISI. This is the third time the city has come on the national terror map following the discoveries regarding Danish and Manzar Imam of Indian Mujahideen.
