Haridwar: Four school teachers arrested for assaulting students

On August 26, 2011 The Pioneer reported that the city police have arrested four teachers of Gurukul School accused of awarding corporal punishment to their students. The accused quartet, which was absconding since the incident, was arrested on Wednesday evening and booked under various sections of the IPC. Investigating officers said that further investigations into the case are on.
