Hyderabad: Four arrested in cheating case
On August 25, 2011 Times of India reported that following the suicide of a gambler on the club premises, the Punjagutta police have booked a cheating case against senior Country Club staff and arrested them. Meanwhile, following her son’s suicide, the victim’s mother consumed sleeping pills on Tuesday night and is reportedly critical. K Srinivas Rao, 45, manager at SVIT College on RP Road, jumped to his death from the third floor of the Country Club in Begumpet after losing money in the game. During preliminary investigation, police found that Srinivas had been frequenting the club a lot in the last few months. On Tuesday, he reportedly lost a large sum of money in the game.
