Chennai: Doctor, ex-nurse arrested for sex trade

On August 12, 2011 Times of India reported that the police on Wednesday arrested a 60-year-old woman for running a brothel at Esplanade. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a private guest house on Prakasam Salai and found Nalini running a prostitution racket. Police arrested Nalini and a pimp, Latiff Hussain of St Thomas Mount. They also rescued two women who were confined to a room. During questioning, Nalini said she had worked as a nurse at a corporate hospital and then for Dr Prakash, who was subsequently arrested for making pornographic films.
