On August 10, 2011 The Pioneer reported that a man with the help of his wife mercilessly killed his father on Monday night under Berasia police station area. The police have arrested the couple and booked under section 302 of IPC. The police informed that Lalaram (62), resident of Karariya village of the area, was killed by his son and daughter-in-law on Monday night. Police informed that the reason behind the murder was that the couple felt insulted after the old man abused them in an inebriated condition.
