On August 01, 2011 Bangalore Mirror reported that just to keep their reputation intact, three students killed a security guard who saw them stealing 10 kg construction steel, worth a paltry Rs. 150. According to JP Nagar police, government school students B Arun Das (16), S Sharath (17) and M Hanamant (15) realised security guard Gangaram Chetri was watching them when they were stealing steel from a construction site in JP Nagar.
