Hyderabad: Five arrested for Murder
On April 8, 2011 Times of India reported that in yet another deadly assault in public glare, a 28-year-old murder case accused was stabbed to death on the premises of King Koti Maternity Hospital on Thursday morning. The victim, Syed Sohail, of Masab Tank, was the prime accused in the murder of one Syed Jaffar Hussain at Himayatsagar in July 2010. At about 8.30 am on Thursday, Sohail received a call from an unidentified woman on his cellphone. Pretending to be interested in him, the woman managed to lure Sohail to Koti Maternity Hospital for a meeting. Unaware of the lurking danger, Sohail along with his friend Shaik Amzad reached the hospital at about 10 am on a bike. As soon as he arrived at the hospital, six persons, who were waiting for Sohail, rushed towards him. Before he could flee, the assailants pounced on him near the hospital porch with daggers. The accused stabbed Sohail indiscriminately and fled from the spot.
