On April 6, 2011 Times of India reported that the Bund Garden police on Monday arrested a cook working at the restaurant of a hotel in Koregaon Park for allegedly attacking and molesting a 33-year-old British woman in the wee hours of Sunday. Hafijul Jabbar Mulla (29) of Ashoknagar, Yerawada, has been charged under sections 354 (assault or criminal force on woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restrain) of the Indian Penal Code. The court released him on bail on Tuesday.
