Pune: Hasan Ali’s close aide arrested

On March 25, 2011 Times of India reported that Kolkata businessman Kashinath Tapuriah has admitted that racehorse owner Hasan Ali Khan had links with Saudi arms dealer Adnan Kashoggi, enforcement directorate officials told a court on Thursday. Tapuriah was arrested on Thursday at 2.30 am and has been remanded in ED custody till March 30. “Tapuriah repeatedly stated that Khan has links with Kashoggi and also admitted that he was helping him to get hold of this money linked to Kashoggi,” ED stated in its remand plea.
