On February 03, 2011 Pioneer reported that the Commssionerate Police on Thursday arrested an accused, which it had earlier detained in connection with the murder house building material trader Sanjay Gouda’s murder in GGP Colony under Mancheswar police station here, a week back. Police sources said the accused has been identified as Pradip Palai of Khalikote, who not only had old enmity with Sanjay but his family. The brother of the deceased had in his FIR mentioned the names of Pradip Palai, Swadin Palai and Susant Pali. On the fateful night while Sanjay was retuning home in his bike from Palasuni to GGP Colony he was attacked by Pradip with a sword and his head was severed from the body.
