Lucknow: Girl kidnapped from Nepal rescued, 3 held

On November 29, 2010 the Pioneer reported that the Sitapur police, along with Nepal police officials, rescued a 2-year-old abducted girl and arrested three persons in this connection on Saturday. Last week, Manikant Mishra, a native of Dhangari in Nailali district of Nepal, had informed the police of the Himalayan nation that his daughter, Moni, had been abducted and the abductors were demanding a ransom of Rs 10 lakh.
