As reported in the Hindustan Times, the police held two employees among the four accused from Education Department in connection with the Rs 1.50-crore GPF fraud case in the education department block. The accused had withdrawn money by fraudulently obtaining fake ID proofs and bills of government teachers and opening bank accounts in their names. A case has been registered against accused under various section of the IPC. The accused were identified as Sukhbir Singh, Parveen Bala, Shashi Bala and Darampal. The latter two are still to be caught and a search has been launched to nab them.
