As published in the Times of India, Forest officials from Chamarajnagar district nabbed a gang of deer hunters who reportedly poached on more than 120 deer at Bandipur forest. The four accused entered Boodipadaga forest area pretending to go on a safari killed the deer and fled. Forest officials nabbed Shoaib, Tanveer, and Nawaz. One of the accused Salman is still at large. The accused persons have been booked under various sections of the Forest Act and Wildlife Conservation Act.
