As reported in the Times of India, the Sarkhej police on August 25 arrested Parth Vasavada for raping an air hostess of a private airline who was also his future bride. The arrest was followed after the victim narrated the whole incident to the police and registered a complaint against the accused. The accused drugged the victim and raped her at his house in Bopal . His mother Dipti Vasavada has also been held for demanding dowry from the victim’s family.
