As reported in the Times of India, 7 of a family were sentenced to 10 years jail after they were found guilty of abetting to suicide of a housewife three years back in Burdwan. Husband Dilip, his mother, father, sister and three relatives had instigated to kill Dilip’s wife Sikha Ghosh. She was harassed for dowry.
