As reported in the Times of India, a complaint has been lodged against Bimlesh Agarwal and his family accusing them of murdering Jyoti in Kolkata. It is alleged that Bimlesh murdered his wife in suspected case of dowry harassment.

This is totally untrue and malafide allegation and all the information supplied to media is incorrect. Jyoti went missing on 26th April and it is his father-in-law who lodged the missing diary with Lake Town Police station on the same day- it can e verified from the police station records. The matter was taken up to CID by Bimlesh (Jyoti’s husband) and not Jyoti’s parents as stated y them. There is not even a thread of truth that there is hand of Bimlesh or any of his family members in her disappearance/death. There have been falsly implicated in this case with ulterior motives.
